Oooohhh you guys! This is baby Maggie and she is the tiniest little bitty! I couldn’t believe how PRECIOUS she was. And, she decided to come early so mommy and daddy have really been taking in this time with her; time that would otherwise be spent in the womb.

What a sweet, loving family. They were completely smitten with Maggie. Just cute and loving, giggling and cuddling. I didn’t want to leave! John and Lynsey met 10 years ago when they were both teaching middle school in Washington, DC. After two years together, Lynsey decided to move to Chicago to attend law school and John decided to move too.

John proposed immediately after Lynsey finished the bar exam in 2013, and they got married a year later. John started teaching music at Sutherland elementary school when Lynsey was in law school, and he currently teaches music to over 700 students from kindergarten through 8th grade weekly. John’s work at Sutherland introduced them to the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago.

Big sis Nora loves her new baby sister so much. They both will grow up celebrating their February birthdays together. I can’t wait to witness the sister bond grow.

Lynsey and John loved the strong neighborhood feel of Beverly inside the Chicago city limits. When their daughter Eleanor Jane (Nora) was born in February 2016, they decided to move to the south side.

Now they spend their weekends enjoying all of the activities their neighborhood has to offer, including spending time at the great microbreweries popping up on Western Avenue. Their second daughter, Margaret Louise (Maggie) was born on February 10, 2019, completing their family. What a beautiful love story!
